Scooter’s Coffee and Wounded Warriors Family Support Team Up
Organizations Partner for a Special Veterans Day Promotion November 11-12
October 26, 2018 – Omaha, NE – Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based coffee franchise that has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, is honoring active and retired military on Veterans Day (November 11) with free drinks of any size and also providing customers with the opportunity to show their support through a partnership with Wounded Warriors Family Support (WWFS). WWFS is an organization dedicated to assisting the families of those wounded, injured or killed in action.
On Sunday, November 11, and Monday, November 12, Scooter’s Coffee customers will be able to add a dollar donation for WWFS to their order.
“We are thrilled to be working with Scooter’s Coffee locations this Veterans Day to improve the quality of life for our combat-wounded veterans and their families,” said Colonel John Folsom (ret.), President of WWFS. “Our important mission relies on the generosity of companies like Scooter’s Coffee and patriotic Americans like Scooter’s Coffee customers. Without their kindness, the military families who’ve sacrificed so much for our freedom would not have the support they need and deserve.”
In addition to the free drink and donation opportunity, customers will also notice Scooter’s Coffee’s Veterans Day theme smiley stickers, a trademark of their drinks, on each cup.
“Scooter’s Coffee is a company that is committed to kindness and spreading love to others – making their days a little brighter,” said Todd Graeve, Scooter’s Coffee CEO. “Veterans Day weekend gives us the opportunity to do our part and say ‘thank you’ to these brave men and women. Partnering with WWFS gives our customers the opportunity to take action by donating to veterans’ families. These families are connected to their loved ones’ service in a powerful and undeniable way, and we are honored to raise money for such a pivotal organization.”
Beyond Veterans Day, the coffee franchise is also a member of the International Franchise Association (“IFA”) and supports the IFA’s VetFran Program. If you are an honorably discharged veteran who meets Scooter’s Coffee’s qualifications to be a franchisee, you will receive a $20,000 product credit from affiliate company Harvest Roasting for use in the first year of operation for the veteran’s first store. More information on the IFA program can be found at VetFran.com.
